Therapy supporting parents to heal their own anxiety & trauma to be the parent they want to be

  • You know that you want to parent your kids differently than you were parented.

  • You have the painful realization while parenting that doing things differently is going to be a lot harder than you could have possibly understood.

  • You find it much harder than you imagined to not yell and to handle your kids' big emotions with the patience and gentleness that you want.

  • You find yourself going down spirals of anxiety, guilt and shame when you find it hard to respond to your children the way that you want.

  • Throw in the lack of support for parents in the US and you feel overwhelmed and not sure what has to change but you know something needs to change

I read all the books, studied child development and was a therapist for kids and families before I was a parent. I thought I was as prepared as I could be only to find out that the process is so much more complex than I could have ever imagined. Our children will poke at every unhealed wound and our body lets us know through our strong emotions in our body that often spirals into feelings of guilt, shame and anxiety. I know firsthand that the process of healing old wounds while parenting can feel completely overwhelming and scary. You do not need to work through the feelings of shame, guilt, confusion and anxiety alone, I am here to provide support on every level. I worked for many years as a therapist to children, teens and their families and have a wealth of knowledge about child development in addition to my knowledge about healing trauma and anxiety. I want to hold space for your inner child and inner teen so you can be the parent you dreamed of being.
